Yes, we are accepting new clients. While we believe that therapeutic services are best offered in person, we are currently offering sessions in multiple formats due to COVID-19. Clients may schedule their sessions face-to-face, via video or by phone.
We do not accept insurance as our therapists are private pay only. We can provide a superbill (an itemized form outlining specific information about services rendered) for you to give to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Taking Root Counseling may be considered an out-of-network provider, and fees may be reimbursed after a deductible is met. Please contact your insurance company for additional information.
Our therapists offer late afternoon and evening sessions. Please ask your therapist about availably when you schedule your first session.
Our therapists are professional clinicians with a Christian faith background. For those who desire an integration of spirituality and psychology, we offer clinical interventions that weave the two together. However, we respect the uniqueness of each of our clients and will walk with you in a way that honors your own belief system and faith tradition.
As licensed counselors, our therapists are not trained to prescribe medication. If you believe medication might be helpful as part of your treatment, we recommend you meet with a psychiatrist or physician.
Your decision to seek support is an important step toward healing and change. We'd be happy to discuss your needs and assist you in making a decision that is best for you. You may contact us by phone, (602) 908-0805, or by completing the contact form.
